I still get emotional thinking about South Africa and the Somerby family. All the great meals, the accommodation, conversations and friendships made. The success in hunting is a bonus. Their slogan is "Come as a client, leave as a friend." Mine is " Come as a friend, leave as family."
The Somerby team is like family. The entire team does a great job from the initial booking, through all the pre-hunt preparation, to the great PH and hunting experiences and then even handling the shipment of the trophies back to the USA. Our experience with Somerby was awesome. Our PH is a top notch PH and put me on the Buffalo of my dreams. When my family arrived, Charles and Lindie made them feel like part of the family. I have hunted on two hunts with Somerby and in two different countries. I have hunted in Africa 6 times, and I can say they are the best. I will never hunt with anyone else in Africa. I can say it doesn't matter what country or area you want to hunt they can accommodate. I highly recommend them. I would recommend Somerby for any hunting, plains game as well as dangerous. The whole team from PH to camp personal are excellent. I was on an extended period hunt, hunting day and night and never had any issues. I have hunted in Africa for 10 years and they are the best I have had. I will definitely return as well as pass on to my hunting friends. Top notch.
