Hunting in the Free State in the Boshof area is an experience in itself. This area borders the Northern Cape and has spectacular views from the heights of the "koppies" (hills). The area is characterised by dense bushy areas, open planes and savannas. We hunt on a large, private game reserve, where you will find free roaming lions and the most majestic Cape buffalo.
Species found when hunting in the Free State in the Boshof area include some rare types like tsessebe and lechwe. Other popular species include waterbuck, kudu and gemsbuck and this area is great for the springbuck grand slam, which includes a black springbuck, white springbuck and copper springbuck.
Activities for non-hunters when hunting in the Free State in the Bloemhof area are few and far in between. As the area is so big, there are not many activities to be done in the immediate area. However, en route to the hunting area, there are some stops along the way, like a large predator sanctuary.
